Family Rooms: With 12 nuclei of family rooms in which 72 family rooms are distributed throughout the green area, we are the ideal space to hold a family reunion.

Children’s games: We have 12 “children’s games” modules and 6 “piñatero” type structures, which allow a pleasant coexistence with our little visitors.

MetroCan Dog Park: A decent space with enough equipment for Users to enjoy with their pets for FREE. METROCAN IS NOT A DOG PARK, IT IS A PARK FOR PEOPLE WHO LOVE THEIR DOGS.

Courts: the PMG has 7 courts in total; 3 of them for soccer, 2 for soccer seven, 1 baseball field and 1 for multiple uses.

Pan-American Sports Centers: in 2011, the Aquatic and Tennis Complexes were built on park land, designed for the “Guadalajara 2011 Pan-American Games”, which since then have been administered by the State Council for Sports Development (CODE Jalisco).

It also has the following services:

Concessions: Rental of bicycles, tricycles, quads, go karts, electric skateboards, trampolines, bounce houses, snacks, sale of souvenirs, rental of soccer fields (North Sports Zone), Outdoor Cinema.

Clean Points: The PMG has two modules of clean points installed to one side of parking lot No. 4, for the separation of waste such as: paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, rest and tetra pak, and in the rest of the PMG we have 500 double organic and inorganic garbage containers.

Sanitary: With 6 modules of sanitary services, with adaptations in each of them for the admission of disabled people.

Estancias Familiares: Con 12 núcleos de estancias familiares en los que se reparten 72 estancias familiares dispersos a lo largo y ancho del área verde, somos el espacio ideal para llevar a cabo una reunión familiar.

Juegos infantiles: Contamos con 12 módulos de “juegos infantiles” y 6 estructuras tipo “piñateros”, que permiten pasar una convivencia agradable con nuestros pequeños visitantes.

Parque Canino MetroCan: Un espacio digno con el equipamiento suficiente para que los Usuarios disfruten con sus mascotas de manera GRATUITA. METROCAN NO ES UN PARQUE PARA PERROS, ES UN PARQUE PARA LAS PERSONAS QUE AMAN A SUS PERROS.

Canchas: el PMG cuenta con 7 canchas en total; 3 de ellas para fútbol soccer, 2 para fútbol siete, 1 cancha de beisbol y 1 de usos múltiples.

Polideportivos Panamericanos: en el año 2011 se construyeron en terrenos del parque los Complejos acuático y de tenis, proyectados para los “juegos panamericanos Guadalajara 2011”, mismos que desde ese entonces los administra el Consejo Estatal para el Fomento Deportivo (CODE Jalisco).

Además cuenta con los siguientes servicios:

Concesiones: Renta de bicicletas, triciclos, cuadriciclos, go karts, patinetas eléctricas, camas elásticas, brincolines, snacks, venta se suvenires, renta de campos de futbol (Zona deportiva norte), Cine al Aire Libre.

Puntos Limpios: El PMG cuenta con dos módulos de puntos limpios instalados a un costado del estacionamiento No. 4, para la separación de residuos como lo son: papel, cartón, plástico, vidrio, resto y tetra pak, y en el resto del PMG contamos con 500 contenedores dobles de basura orgánicos e inorgánicos.

Sanitarios: Con 6 módulos de servicios sanitarios, con adaptaciones en cada uno de ellos para el ingreso de personas discapacitadas.

Aquí, en un solo día puedes ver diversos tipos de vegetación como bosque tropical caducifolio, bosque de galería, vegetación rupícula y vegetación secundaria, por esta razón, el lugar es considerado como corredor biogeográfico y año con año es visitado por investigadores nacionales e internacionales.

La riqueza de su flora endémica no es la única razón para maravillarse con esta barranca. Para disfrutar al máximo de este lugar, vale la pena recorrer sus principales puntos como la Capilla, La Vía y sus tres miradores (Huentitán, Mirador Dr. Atl y el Parque Mirador Independencia) que te garantizan una vista única.

Durante la caminata podrás apreciar caídas de agua, un río, un gran puente y muchos rincones naturales que querrás fotografiar.

Para sacarle el máximo provecho a la visita, puedes planear un picnic y preparar unas carnes asadas en las hornillas disponibles o si lo prefieres hay un restaurante que ofrece platillos variados para todos los gustos. También hay áreas techadas para comer con mesas y juegos infantiles.

Conceived as a modern space for Zapopans, the area became a model neighborhood.

The layout of the neighborhood was inspired by the garden cities of English urban planning, which consists of subdivisions surrounded by green areas, which made Chapalita a place with a unique personality, with order, planning and well-being.

Over time, the residential neighborhood became a business area such as restaurants, bars and cafes, as well as a place with a high rate of vehicle traffic, being at the confluence with important avenues such as Lázaro Cárdenas, Guadalupe , Lopez Mateos and Las Rosas.

One of the main meeting points in Chapalita is its roundabout, where every Sunday it becomes a place of great flow of art sales, cultural events and family gatherings.

Es muy probable que lo que estés buscando lo consigas, y ese es el motivo por el cual siempre tomo como primera opción a Plaza Andares cuando estoy decidido a tener un dia de compras.

La verdad, es una experiencia bastante agradable recorrer las tiendas y pasear por los alrededores, pues la distribución del lugar y el concepto abierto de sus espacios consiguen que no te pierdas y todo esté a la vista.

Además, debo decir que todos los productos y locales son de excelente calidad, así como el hecho de encontrar una gran variedad de marcas de alto renombre.

RESTAURANTES Y EXPERIENCIAS GASTRONÓMICAS
Cómo todo Centro Comercial, el hecho de conseguir una amplia variedad de lugares de comida y restaurantes es algo en lo que Plaza Andares no se queda atrás.

Paseo Teopotzintli

Se trata de un andador donde a lo largo podrás encontrar lugares para comer, bares, músicos, karaokes y otros atractivos principalmente de entretenimiento y diversión. Si buscas souvenirs o artesanías este podría ser un buen lugar para adquirir algunas. También hay vendedores de antigüedades y otras mercancías. Este paseo adoquinado te lleva desde Plaza las Américas hasta el Arco de Zapopan.

Pareciera el nombre de una lugar con comercios, pero en realidad se trata de una plaza donde se levantan 28 astas que representan a los países de América Latina. Buen lugar para caminar por la noche y disfrutar de la camaradería de los lugareños.

Zona Arqueológica El Ixtepete o Iztepete

A esta zona Arqueológica se le considera una de las más importantes del occidente de México. Fue descubierta en 1938 por unos trabajadores mientras reparaban las vías del tranvía, pero  fue hasta 1955 cuando se empezaron los trabajos de restauración. Abierta al público todos los días excepto lunes.

Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Zapopan

Para cerrar con broche de oro, nada mejor que conocer una de las joyas del turismo religioso en México: La Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Zapopan. Originalmente fue construida en honor a la Virgen de la Inmaculada Concepción. Se empezó a construir en 1690 y se terminó en 1730.
